I am anxiously awaiting the LDS Church’s upcoming Christmas campaign: #LIGHTtheWORLD.
If you haven’t already, check out this teaser video:
Along with announcing Worldwide Day of Service on December 1, 2016, the Church will be releasing daily ideas on ways to serve others in the way Christ did.
I’m honored to share with you my small part in this campaign. Along with eight very talented and admired designers, I get to create and share a kit full of printables designed to help you plan and perform service this Christmas season.
The nine full kits will be released very soon and I can’t wait to share them with you.
Follow this blog so you don’t miss the tons of free downloads that are coming!
Here are a couple of behind-the-scenes views of my kit-creation process, from drawing a basic design and adding color in Illustrator, to photographing final designs:
If you’re looking for a way to energize your Young Women to serve this year, the #LIGHTtheWORLD campaign is the perfect inspiring resource. Watch for the campaign announcement on Black Friday.
I’ll be sharing my full kit with you soon (including a lesson plan, printable ornaments, service charade games, posters and more! And, I hope to follow that with the free kits from the eight other designers.
Can’t wait to #LIGHTtheWORLD!
Watch for my kit to be posted here on November 26, 2016.
