Q: I’m using your editable calendar PDFs and sending them to my girls and leaders. However, some of them can’t see my text or are having other issues. What can we do?
This frustrating problem can be handled by making sure all of those who view the editable PDF files to have the LATEST VERSION 0f the Adobe Reader app or program. Older versions have issues with sharing editable PDF files.
Q: Which programs do I need so I can I use JPEG and PNG files?
JPEG files and PNG files can be used in word-processing and photo-editing software like Word, Photoshop, Photoshop Elements, GIMP and Paint Shop Pro.
JPEG files can also be uploaded and printed as photos.
PNG files have transparent backgrounds and are best used as graphics and put into documents.
Q: How can I customize one of your files for my own projects?
To customize JPEG and PNG files, open the JPEG or PNG file in your word-processing or photo-editing software. Use this tutorial as a guide for adding text in Photoshop/Photoshop Elements.
To customize an EDITABLE PDF file, open the PDF in Adobe Reader. This free program is already installed on most computers. If you need it, you can download it here.
Q: Can I use your designs to make t-shirts for Youth Conference or Girl’s Camp?
Yes! I’d be excited if you did! You do not need my permission to create t-shirts and other items if they are used for NONCOMMERCIAL CHURCH activities. If your printer requires an AI (vector) file instead of a JPEG or PNG, please contact me and I will send it to you.
Q: Do you take requests?
I love your ideas for projects and do my best as time allows to create some of them. However much I’d like to follow through with those projects, I cannot promise to get to every idea that is submitted. If you want to commission a custom project, contact me here or via my Etsy shop and I’ll get back to you with pricing and other details.
Love your site, Neisha! We’d like to use your calendars but I noticed that you’ve asked that people not share your calendar files electronically. I’m hoping it’s okay to email each month’s calendar out to YW and parents in order to keep costs down.We might also upload our monthly calendar to Facebook or post on Instagram. Would that be okay? – Kim
Hi Kim!
I do approve of you emailing/posting the calendars for your YW and Parents. That will be fine 🙂 Thanks for asking!
Thanks Neisha!
Hi Neisha,
I loved your 2015 Calendar for YW. Do you have plans for a 2016 Calendar?
Thanks,
Dianna
Hi Dianna! I am working on in and hope to have it ready the first part of December 🙂
