They’re here! My popular 2017 Mutual Theme calendars are ready for you!
You are going to love these calendars! The cover features the full 2017 Mutual Theme and each month includes one of my “Ask of God, Ask in Faith” logos. Today’s post features the horizontal-format calendars. You can find my vertical-format calendars here.
NOTE: The font size in the original editable PDFs and individual PDFs was way to small. I’ve corrected this issue and fixed the files. Please re-download the calendars. Thanks for your patience!
***PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU AND YOUR GIRLS HAVE THE MOST RECENT VERSION OF ADOBE READER TO AVOID ISSUES WITH THESE EDITABLE PDFS.***

In addition to today’s HORIZONTAL FORMAT full-year calendar PDF, I’ve included INDIVIDUAL MONTH EDITABLE PDF files so you can email/share them with your girls, parents and leaders! They will need to have the most recent version of Adobe Reader to be able to view your edits in the PDF files.
And, as a bonus, I’ve included full-page year-at-a-glance 2017 and 2018 calendars. Here’s what the 2017 year-at-a-glance looks like:These calendars are so easy to use! The editable PDF file has text fields for each day of every month PLUS editable text fields for additional announcements, notes and more. Adding your own information to the editable PDF file is so fast and requires very little technical know-how. Here’s how:
- Open the editable PDF file in Adobe Reader. (If you don’t already have this free program installed, download it here.)
- Click on the text field you want to edit.
- Type in your information. (Fonts, font sizes, font color and alignment are already selected for you and cannot be changed. If you want to indent something, you can’t use the TAB key – use the space bar instead. If you want to select your own fonts, you can open the JPEG files in Word or similar program and place/format your own text boxes.)
- Save and Print/Email!
Easy peasy!
If you want to customize these calendars even further, I’ve included in the download JPEG files of each month, the cover, and the year-at-a-glance calendars for you to edit in your own word-processing or photo-editing software.
Use these calendars to help your girls keep abreast of activities, birthdays and goals. Put a calendar on your YW bulletin board, hand them out or email them to parents or include them in a Stake YW newsletter. Or, use them to keep your own family life organized!
You can download my 2017 Mutual Theme Calendars (Horizontal Format) here.

I absolutely love these calendars and kinda depend on them every year. This year, the font size within the calendar days are so super small. Am I doing something wrong? Is there a way to make it bigger?
Hi Jamie!
THANK YOU SO MUCH for letting me know about the super tiny text! When I tested the files, they were fine, but something happened when I was creating the editable text fields. I’ve fixed the files and am uploading the corrected downloads for you right now. So sorry for any inconvenience. Thanks again!
The font on the individual horizontal ones is still pretty small….can you check it out for me? Such a good idea to offer individual months as files because we post ours on our ward FB page and one month is easier for parents to read quickly! Thank you so much!
Hello!!! I am planning on taking the(Printed)calender’s to a 12-13 year-old’s New Years eve party. I hope you dont mind!!!! There is about 13-14 girls.
Hi Lauryn! What a great idea! I don’t mind and hope the girls like them 🙂
Love your calendars by the way … but I just downloaded the horizontal file and the font is still pretty small. Is there somewhere else I’m supposed to be clicking?
Nevermind, I found the right link! Thanks!
Yay! I was just going to send you that way. Just in case anyone missed it, the horizontal file had an error in the font sizing. However, I’ve fixed it. Please re-download the file for the updated horizontal calendar. I apologize for the inconvenience.
Thank you thank you thank you for providing these calendars. It took me a year of frustration trying to use another format from the past yw secretary before I found your calendars. It comes together in about 10 minutes now and I am ever so grateful for your generosity in doing this!!!
You’re welcome, Kristen! Glad to help 🙂
I’m still having problems with the text being very small. Is there another download I’m not seeing?
Hi Janet! I’ve tried something different. Please try downloading again. Thanks for your patience!
Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! These are so perfect! I appreciate you sharing your time and talent with the rest of us.
You’re so welcome, Danielle!

This is so nice of you to share! I am printing them right now for my new beehive presidency. They are very cute and are just what I was hoping to find. Thank you!!!
